Starting tomorrow, the Tour starts...and the wind. 32 mph tomorro; 40mph on Thursday; chilly on Fri, Sat and Sunday....oh, and possibility of rain/thunder storms on Sat and Sun. Should be fun, eh?
Went for a short ride with Matt this a.m. down Hwy 90. Matt was gracious and let me keep up with him. Those riders are amazingly strong and fast. At 62 yrs old, I am not even in the same neighborhood, let alone league as they are. Saw lots of teams out there today ... blazing up and down the roads/hills. There is very little flat riding in this area. A fact of life here is elevation; another fact of life here is hills.
Looking forward to the Tour. Oh, and my touring tires should be here tomorrow. I'll be back on my Cannondale by Thursday.
The song for today...Billy Joe Shaver...Live Forever...great song; great song writer; great singer. Enjoy.
